YEAR 5 – WINCHESTER SCIENCE MUSEUM AND PLANETARIUM
Year 5 visited Winchester Science Museum and Planetarium to learn all about Earth and Space. They took part in a workshop where they had to find the best material to protect the James Webb Telescope from solar flares - they all enjoyed testing d ifferent materials finding out that gold offers the best protection!
Next, they got to enjoy a show in the planetarium which was all about the stars and the planets. They had a great day and got the chance to show off their impressive scientific knowledge.
