Curriculum Intent, Implementation and Impact

The curriculum at Wyke Primary Academy is based upon the acquisition and application of knowledge and skills. We view learning as a long-term process and so provide a curriculum that enables all children to learn, retain and apply knowledge and skills that they can transfer across the curriculum.

To achieve this, a culture of curiosity and mastery underpins the curriculum and each discipline. We want our children to be engaged in meaningful learning, to have a passion for individual subjects and to be able to see themselves as lifelong learners.
