Additional Inset Day - Monday 5th June 2023

You may have seen in the newsletter sent out on Friday, that we will be having an additional INSET day on Monday 5th June 2023.
The Kite Academy Trust Board has permitted an additional INSET day for Wyke Primary Academy this academic year. This is to help facilitate the implementation of our improvement plans.
We will be using this day for training on an evidence informed programme that will help develop our teaching of reading beyond phonics. The day’s training will support the development of staff’s knowledge to prepare for the implementation of the programme.
School will be closed on Monday 5th June to children and re-open, after the half-term holiday, on Tuesday 6th June.
