Sports Day

We look forward to Wyke Sports Day on Wednesday, 5th July. The children will all be competing in events and parents are invited to come and cheer on the children and join in the fun.

PE KIT
The children will need to come wearing their PE kit, shorts with a coloured t-shirt to match the team that they are in (if you cannot find a t-shirt in that colour they can wear their normal PE t-shirt and we will give them a coloured band). The children will be in the same colour team as previous years. If you do not know the colour team that your child is in please ask your child’s class teacher.

PICNIC LUNCH
We will enjoy a picnic on the field; there will be no hot lunch option on this day.
There is the option to order a school packed lunch for your child if you wish.
For planning purposes, we require everyone to pre-book their lunch option for this day, therefore please can you select your child's lunch choice on Scopay by Midday on Tuesday 27th June. If you have not selected a lunch option by the deadline we will assume you are providing a packed lunch for your child. This applies to all Reception, KS1 and KS2 children.

If choosing the school packed lunch option, the choice will be:

A while bread sandwich

• • Red – Ham
  • Green - Cheese
  • Blue - Tuna

Mixed crudités
Biscuit or cake
Frube / yogurt
Piece of fruit

ENTRANCE
We will be starting the events at 9:30. Parents will need to access the field via the small gate in the car park and will need to assemble in the middle of the field. Once the carousel of events has been completed, we will end with the relay races and parent’s races! Parents and visitors are then invited to join us on the field for a picnic.
